Networking event photographer

I am interested in photographing networking & workshop events in Hampshire or London.

These are a selection taken at a recent internet marketing workshop.

These contemporary photographs will be a real benefit when marketing future events and can also be given as a momento to those that attend.

Location- Winchester Hampshire

Corporate Photographer in The City

This was from a series of photographs I took in The City. I was trying to capture some generic corporate photographs that would show corporate life in The City. This was taken in Leadenhall Street and I had the shot framed but was waiting to get the right business man to walk through the shot, whilst praying the sun would stay out and that the traffic lights would stay red, keeping the traffic out of the frame. What is interesting is that I feel the sunlight bouncing off the chrome railings gives the photograph ‘The City’ atmosphere I was after, but it was rejected by one picture library because of lens flare.

Corporate office photography

Do corporate mugshots on a white background give a good first impression to potential clients?

These were shot for a corporate events business in Berkshire. They liked my reportage corporate photography and asked me to spend a couple of hours capturing staff portraits around their head office. What really pleases me about these is that they are not only a good example of corporate portrait photography, but they give a really good impression of the company. You get the feel and atmosphere of how they work and communicate. Informal corporate photography needs to show your people in an approachable and professional light. So many companies see corporate portrait photography as a requirement that needs to be fulfilled as a page allocated on a website or a brochure. We have clicked on the ‘about us’ and ‘meet the team’ link and been faced with rows of headshots on a white background. What does that tell you about a company? Use your corporate portrait photography as a positive marketing tool.

Event photographer Hampshire

A few portraits shot at a Hampshire networking event. The event was organised by Haley Storey who runs the Portsmouth About My Area website. The event portraits are of the key speaker Ian Dickson a performance coach. Ian was a very good subject to photograph as he has a natural confidence in front of an audience. If you capture good event photography at your next event, it will benefit the marketing of any future events.
