Take a little time when composing a business headshot to consider the background. Of course the primary focus is the person , but the background can add a new dimension to the portrait and give the image more interest and visual impact. I shoot most of my backgrounds out of focus, and this allows me to add strong colours to the headshots without distracting from the person.
